Ragnarok Online 2 Day 1

Ragnarok Online 2. All I can say is DAYYYUMMM! But seriously. That game is great. Even from the login screen it's great. The music is soothing, calming , and sets a sort of "tone" for the game to be on. It's written and composed by Yoko Kanno.

But anyway, being an avid fan of Ragnarok Zeny, I thought I would give RO Zeny 2 a try. I was playing the Korean version of the game and after your done going through all the login stuff you get to the character customization. I was instantly amazed at the character detail, I mean it's not the most in depth customization you ever seen, like perfect world, but it was still pretty good. You get about 20 hair choices( Not bad considering most games.), hair colors, eye brows, eyes, eye color, and mouth shape. You name your character and weapon and your on your way!

Everyone who has played Ragnarok Zeny  knows, there is a little tutorial island like going on in the game for beginners. You start off as a Novice, a sort of beginning class in RO and RO2. So, you start off in a dungeon,sewer esque thing going on, and you go through the dungeon completing little tutorial tasks, like delivering a scroll to NPC A, talking to NPC B, blah blah. After all that fun stuff, your finally finshed, ready to start your adventure in the world of Midgard! So you walk up to this huge kick ass gate and you walk through it. They you find yourself outside on an island. So, you talk to this one guy and then you go to the quest board and find quests to do. After you finish those quests you should be about Lvl 6 or 7 you come to the town of Hodemimes. You see a mini cutscene where you get like jacked by some blonde guy. He doesn't really take anything so after that is over you regain control of your character you should go to the job change building( I don't really recall what the buildings name was.) and change your job. But the exciting thing about RO2 is that you can be any class you want whenever( As long as you go to a job changer,) So for an example if you first changed to a swordsmen , then got bored of bashing monsters with your sword you could go to a job changer you could change to a recruit and shoot things ^ ^.

As a summary of what I did for my first day:

Started the game, created a character

finished the tutorial sequence and went through the gate,

Finished a couple of quests and changed my job to a swordsman.
